Mr. Posthole is a family- and locally-owned posthole drilling specialist headquartered in Fowlerville, MI. Since 2019 we've been the crew Michigan homeowners and contractors call when the holes have to be plumb, on time, and inspection-ready.
§01 — The Story
Mr. Posthole, LLC was founded in 2019 with a single, deliberately narrow mission: drill the cleanest, straightest, fastest postholes in Michigan. Not fences. Not decks. Not landscaping. Holes — drilled to the depth, diameter, and plumb the rest of your project depends on.
That focus is the difference. While the local handyman is renting an auger for the weekend, we're running purpose-built hydraulic equipment with a digital inclinometer that guarantees vertical holes regardless of slope. While the bigger general contractor is juggling six trades, we're showing up on the day we promised, drilling, cleaning up, and getting out of your way so the next phase of your build can start.
Five-plus years and 1,000+ projects later, the company is still family- and locally-owned. Kirk is still the one who answers the email. The trucks still roll out of Fowlerville, MI. And the only thing we drill is postholes — for fences, pole barns, decks, gazebos, ground screws, and trees, across 3 regions in two states.
